Cancer Support

A cancer diagnosis can be devastating for the person affected as well as their extended family. It can impact not only on a physical and practical level but on a psychological and emotional level.

Counselling can offer those experiencing a diagnosis or their family members a space to explore these emotions, fears and changes to their life. It also offers space to explore secondary issues such as impact on partners and children, effects of treatment, job concerns, self-esteem and relationship issues.

I have experience of both short and long-term therapeutic work with people experiencing a cancer diagnosis, people who have a history of cancer and those living with a chronic or terminal diagnosis.
